"We began to flirt with the idea of having a destination political party celebrating the new decade, then decided in December to become married [in Austin] on New Year's Eve, and only go along dancing until after the ball dropped," the actress explained, going on to add together that over the summertime, after a shut friend had died, it "didn't feel of import to wait anymore, to terminate being busy, or for things to line up perfectly."
