The annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival is celebrating its 101st year in 2022.

As one of the largest street festivals in the nation, the event brings in thousands of people to West Franklin Street in the course of a week.

When is the Evansville fall festival?

This year, the festival started with kiddie rides open on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 2. The larger festival, with carnival rides and more than 130 food booths, started Monday.

Food booths open for lunch, then stay open through around 9 p.m., with some leeway given for busy or slow traffic times.
